Spiritual Vision

Dreams give rise to luminous thoughts, to intuitions, to those creative and innovative capacities that have characterized so many great people and their works.

Dreaming is similar to faith, which cannot simply be said to be a gift one either has or does not have. It is we ourselves—through our behavior—who can increase or diminish our faith, almost destroy it, or expand it until we can see what others do not, beyond the surface of the world of appearances.

Faith, like dreaming, is a dimension in which introspection prevails, leading us on an inner journey where experiences are as real as those we live in the physical world. But the phenomenal world is only a small part of Reality.

There exists an implicit, invisible world that generates and sustains the visible one. A Reality that lies beyond appearance and illusion.

Māyā (the material and illusory energy) is that which “is not”: the mere appearance of something whose cause—the Reality that underlies it—cannot be grasped by sensory perception.

Dreams bring us into that dimension which lies beyond time and space. Faith in God is the conviction that dwells in the heart, warming it and filling it with Love.
